Anong exercise routine niyo ngayong ECQ? Before ECQ?

Hahaha. Parang walang gustong mag-exercise ngayong ECQ.

During ECQ: HIIT workouts na free sa youtube.
Before ECQ: Circuit training.

Disclaimer: 150lbs pa na mommy trying to get back to 129lbs so medyo malayo pa ang kailangan gawin.

hayt, sinusubukan ko pa lang mag-gym ulit at crossfit noong week before ECQ! Buti hindi pa monthly rate ang ibinayad ko noon. :bah:

Sinusubukan ko ngayon yung program ni Chloe Ting sa Youtube, tinatamad ako last week dahil red tide, so sana ngayon tuloy-tuloy na!

Pag gusto kong gumalaw-galaw, I do Yoga with Adriene sa Youtube, kettlebell exercises, and Zumba.

Pero sa food talaga ako nag-aadjust. I was doing keto before but now back to carbs. Sarap kumain hahahuhu

Suggestions lang ha.

  1. Push-ups for chest, back, and triceps
  2. Lunges for hamstrings, quadriceps, and glutes
  3. Jumping jacks for cardio

I used to run a lot before the lockdown, so carbo loading is an everyday thing for me. Ngayon bawal nang lumabas, di na ko makatakbo. I gained 10lbs in a week kasi lamon galore pa din ako kahit di na ako tumatakbo. Ang pinaka-exercise ko lang is linis ng bahay :rotfl:

So what I did is I start tracking my calorie intake per day. Sa umpisa nafufrustrate ako kasi lagi akong sobra pero after ilang araw, naging mas conscious ako sa kinakain ko. After two weeks, I lost 10lbs. :inlove:

before ECQ: free workouts lang sa YT–pilates, HIIT and strength training
so wala akong excuse na di gawin iyan lahat kahit may lockdown :embarasslaff:

I tried using jumping rope today. 15 min * 2000 loops. To be fair, nakakapagod pala. :treadmill:

Saan mo nakukuha yung calorie information especially for home-cooked meals?

@perlita sa MyFitness Pal app. Pag galing online yung recipes, usually may nakikita akong calorie count per servings or per cup. Tapos kung saan tutugma yung calorie count sa list, yun pinipili ko. Most of the time, tama yung data nila. :+1:

I also have a few units sa Human Health and Nutrition kaya may idea din ako how much yung calories ng food.

Yw @perlita ! I had 1500 in mind but 1200 tinarget ko sa app kasi alam kong sosobra ako. Tama nga ako hahaha!

Ako I just do 50 squats (2 sets na tig-25) and 2 sets of bench (I have 21lbs weights here at home), 15 reps each. This is my minimum. Madalas meron pang curls 2 sets na tig-8. Dagdag ng 2sets na 1-min planks kapag sinisipag. Konti lang sya, but I try to do them everyday. Worst case ko is I miss a day in a week.

Extra challenge kumilos ngayong ECQ kase masarap humilata at mas masaya mag workout talaga sa labas ng bahay. Pero kailangan mag burn ng napakaraming kinakain kaya pilit pa rin gumalaw. Expectation: workout everyday. Reality: 4-5x a week :lol:

Alternating between:

  • Indoor bike - napabili ako indoor trainer dahil sa ECQ
  • Yoga - madami na free classes online
  • HIIT - beginner pa lang, okay pag kailangan ng quick workout
  • Meditation - para sa healthy mind, eto everyday

Gusto ko din magawa 100squats a day, para sa you know :rotflmao:

Now: Some yoga routines lang pero hindi complete series.

OnT: planking at push-ups are both good for small spaces

@jide ano ang workout program mo sa indoor bike? Rhythm/music ba or may target RPM and other metrics ka? I have an indoor bike too pero di ko ma-replicate yung intensity ng workout vs pag nasa indoor cycling studio.
