Anong exotic food ang nasubukan mo na?

Are you an adventurous eater? What are the weirdest, most exotic food you’ve tried so far? Masarap ba? Is there a line you won’t cross?

I’ve personally tried ginataang crocodile and stingray, crickets baked into cookies, ants and kamote, adobong sawa, Chinese turtle soup. Kinilaw na tamilok. Raw uni. Foie gras.

Yung uni and foie gras, super sarap. Yung turtle soup saka yung sawa, super lansa. The rest, ok lang. I personally draw the line on insects na kahit niluto, may gooey insides pa rin.

I’ve tried fried frog legs, adobong sawa, adobong turtle. Never again :confounded:

Ginulat lang kami nung guide namin sa Palawan bago kami sumakay ng bangka. Yung hyper kayo lahat sabay sya “o guys try nyo to!”. So kami naman, go! Bad trip ako after :weary:

Ewan ko kung exotic na matuturing kasi lumaki ako sa bukid :embarasslaff: but Ive had ginataang frog legs at shark meat soup. Nakatikim na din ako ng ginataang suso pero not a fan.

Ive had deep fried gator legs pero wala namang distinct na lasa.
A full English breakfast in most British cafes ay may kasamang blood pudding–na try ko na pero di ko bet. Betamax nga di ko kinakain lol.
Sa Scotland naman, yung haggis (another breakfast item). Also kadiri :pukeface:

I tried yung adobong kuliglig. And yung chicharong uod sa Bohol (thanks to an officemate who gave us pasalubong after her trip). Not bad. Crunchy, even. Also, chocolate coated ants and termites. Just don’t like the wriggliness.

Cannot do exotic food. My stomach turns lalo na pag may kakaibang amoy.

Exotic ba ang stinky tofu? I heart it. Kahit amoy imburnal. Lalo na 'yong nasa tabi-tabi lang sa city proper ng Taipei, pero pinakamasarap talaga 'yong sa Shenkeng.

May Taiwanese restaurant sa Araneta called Tien-Ma’s. Ang ulol sa mahal ng stinky tofu (200??!). E nasa equivalent lang ng PhP80 sa Taipei. (Tien-Ma’s, to me: Dami mong hanash, e di wag ka dito, pumunta ka ng Taipei!) :rofl:

Did I enjoy them? No.
Would I eat them again? Also no.

nasubukan ko na karamihan ng napost dito except for stinky tofu. di na ako uulit ng kain ng ahas (sobrang lansa) at ng aso (bata pa ako nung nasubukan ko ito). i’ve accidently tried kinilaw na taklobo nung nag Palawan kami. sabi lang sa amin, kinilaw na shellfish so ako naman si kain. sarap na sarap pa ako. nung ubos na, saka sinabi na giant clam pala yun :sob:
