Aliw kung paano naipasok yung mga kanta. Siyempre weird lang na nababago-bago from the Eheads version yung pagkanta, cringeworthy at times  May nabasa ako, madami daw changes from the first run, pero hindi sinabi kung ano-ano ito. How true?

couldn’t really make it past the first 15-20mins or so when i tried watching it kagabi.

tapos just now, nakinig ako dun sa mga clips of how they sung some of the songs like with a smile and the titular song.

:bawling: Act II was just :heartbroken:

Fill Her was my favorite E-heads song so I loved that they sung it as independently without much fanfare :inlove:

Medyo naging teleseryish towards the end and I didn’t like the simultaneous singing of different songs.

Fridging as a plot device in this day and age? :nono:

Lol. Ganyan rin si @karl, hindi kinaya. Ako pinagtiyagaan ko. Watched it with breaks in between, and as background while doing other tasks.

Agree with @selenakyle na naging teleserye-ish na nga towards the half of Act 2.

The Minsan part would be the most relatable to us all. Lalo yung sa enrollment :hahaha:

Loved the production, but I agree with several points in this review regarding the ill-written story: https://www.gaslight.online/post/too-much-too-little-a-review-of-ang-huling-el-bimbo-in-three-parts

Also, “why?!?” Iirc, his nose looked fine before.
Kuha nga niya si ate Vi.

Apart from a few good moments and the fact that I was a huge EHeads fan in HS and college, I found this pretty underwhelming. The plot was a bit iffy and for a story that’s not sci-fi or fantasy, parang andaming suspension of belief na kailangan - andaming points na medyo stretch. Also, Jon Santos CANNOT SING. He’s talented, but to put him in a musical, again, stretch. I also didn’t like some of the new arrangements they did for a couple of the songs. Parang just for the sake of being able to use the song, gagamitin nila. Also, while I love Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, off sya as Joy. She just doesn’t fit the character. Probably the best performance was from Jamie Wilson, pero typecast na sya sa mga ganung role - it was right in his wheelhouse.

Interesting. I’ll check nga. Available pa ba? Di ko pinanood yung online kasi napanood ko na dati during the first run. Although, kahit naman yung napanood ko may ibang off for me.

Kakatapos ko lang. Andaming feels ng Kalay. Yung payphone sa labas ng Kalay. Yung dingding. Yung kama. :bawling:

Watched it on its first run in 2018 pero hindi pa nangalahati ang Act 1, I had to leave so nasayang ticket ko. Pero goosebumps ako doon sa Minsan number. Teary-eyed, even.

Act 1 was entertaining. Act 2 was predictable and melodramatic.

anybody have a link to a download?

Same here! I gave up at the 20min or so mark. (I watched via the 48hour free streaming.) I liked young hector’s singing voice though but
I wasn’t a big fan of the first 20 mins (performance, script). Did I throw in the towel too early and missed something amazing? Oops.

I love the Eheads.

Tapos I looked up the plot and got shookt. The musical takes on critical issues, I read. So I wanted to watch it after reading about the storyline. Pero nag expire na yung link

I think part of the problem was they made a story out of one song - which isn’t bad in itself - but when you start to force not only plot and dialogue to conform to it, but also the rest of the EHeads’ songs, the result is what we got.

Look at Sa Wakas. It was by no means perfect and the plot was simpler, but it was more solid overall, at least for me.
