Been everywhere — media, government, NGO, academe, OFW, corporate. From left to right across the spectrum. I do community service and volunteer whenever I can. I abide by the laws (afaik) and pay full taxes regularly. I take part in the government through suffrage. I strive to reduce my carbon footprint. I shape the future and educate the next generation (my son) to be decent, kind, and productive. I tip respectably. I love well and forgive easily (chos!).

Nagtatanim ng mga gulay sa gitna ng malaking ciudad (urban gardening ika nga) at nagpopost ng mga litrato ng mga halaman atbp sa Instagram. Spreading good vibes? Colour? Plants for world peace? Ganyan lang.

Natapos ng BS CN sa Diliman, nagmed school, pumasa sa Nutritionist-Dietitian board exam nung first year med, natapos ng med, pumasa ng Physician Licensure exam. Nagtrabaho sa private companies ng 4 years, at 1 year sa government. Nagpakasal, nagka 2 anak, pumunta sa Amerika kasama ang pamilya. Hindi man ako frontliner ngayon, ang asawa ko ay healthcare worker pa rin. Ang contribution ko siguro ngayon sa society ay pagpapalaki ng maayos sa 2 anak namin, molding them into good citizens and God fearing individuals as a stay-at-home mom. Trabaho ko rin pala ngayon homeschool teacher at tumutulong gumawa ng face masks. In my free time, I make oil paintings (nature a la Bob Ross and also Oble paintings) and geode resin art.

Nag-PT boards; di tumuloy ng med school. Nag-preschool teacher. Lumipat sa IT. Nasa IT pa rin, pero sa travel industry na. Ngayong may COVID, our clients are not in the best shape. Was in media for most of my career, now I’m still creating content but for a non-media company. After sorta changing worlds I realized that creatives are much more appreciated if the company is not really a creative one. I don’t think I will ever have a drastic change in my career. Nasulit naman ang Journ degree, haha!

Malapit na ako mag-15 years sa first job ko. Maraming beses din ako nagbalak umalis. Pero etong Covid-19 Pandemic ang nag remind sa akin kung bakit ako naging iskolar ng at para sa bayan. Challenging maging alagad ng agham sa Pilipinas, pero lagi ko pinapaalalahanan ang sarili ko na I am where I’m needed most.
