I prefer single-origin Arabica, pero I do enjoy Benguet or Barako brews as well.

I’m still in the experimentation phase, pero sa ngayon ang paborito ko yung La Palma Y El Tucan (Neighbors and Crops series) from Yardstick. Naubos ko na yung binili ko last month, buti na lang meron akong 1 kg ng Lamill Coffee Ethiopia Wote Konga (Yirgacheffe). I can taste the explosion of flavor in the cup, pero ang hirap i-dial in to my taste nitong Wote Konga kumpara sa LPET.

I brew with a V60 for a clean and bright cup and hand grind my beans using a Kalita KH-3 burr grinder that I got as a gift. Pag may funds na ako ulit para sa coffee tools ko, bibili ako ng Comandante or Kinu for a more consistent grind. Dahil sa design ng Kalita, hindi ko namememoryado kung nasa same settings talaga ako palagi.

Used to like coffee with creamer/milk and sugar, pero ngayon I want to taste all the nuances of the beans I buy.

Benguet is too light for me.

Monk’s Blend (arabica+robusta) > any barako I’ve tried

… and I’ve tried everything you can find in the supermarkets in the Metro.

I have a big Delonghi Coffee Maker at home given to me by my grandma-in-law. I love coffee and I wouldn’t survive without drinking a cup in a day (arte mo ghorl :rotfl:). Black coffee would be the best for me. Arabica or Robusta, does not matter as long as it’s strong.

I have GERD so I stopped drinking coffee regularly
(But @KniM coffee is hard to resist)
I have tea every so often. I prefer loose leaf tea but if I’m in a hurry, the Yogi brand of teas.

Masaya na ako sa Old Town Original :rotfl:

Sa mga available sa supermarket, may nakapasa ba sa taste mo?

eto na lang ang fina-follow ko na timpla ngayon:
1 tsp Folgers instant coffee
1 tsp Nestle Low-Fat Coffee Creamer (powder)
2 tsps Raw Brown Sugar
12 oz hot water

pero dati akong adik sa kapeng barako (Batangas), french press coffee, dunkin donuts roasted coffee at starbucks venti americana with 3 raw sugar & extra espresso shot. nawalan ng coffee buddy kaya bumalik sa instant

Coffee lovers, have you tried roasting your own coffee beans? I saw unroasted beans at Gourmet Farms and was exploring the idea of roasting them but I havent done any research yet. Anyone of you tried already?

hindi pa ako. walang time for that pa :frowning:

My brother has a small batch table top roaster. Sa kanya ako kumukuha ng beans. Mukhang enjoy sya pag ro-roast! Yung last nya binigay sa akin Bukidnon beans, sarap!
