Masmadalas ako sa SGD kasi usually may parking. Driftwood usually park sa Claret, ang layo.
Sa loob ng campus, I go to Morning Mud Cafe sa Centennial Dorms. May parking na, mura and masarap hehe!

Funny story. Lagi kong nadadaanan yung hot off the press akala ko talaga printing press siya. Hanggang sa nung nakita ko sa facebook na kainan pala siya. Sila yung may egg coffee.

Panalo ang Old Town White Coffee ng Malaysia. Vietnamese at Indonesian coffee ang tanggulan ko kapag antok na antok ako.
Naspoil ako sa mga kapeng ito, kaya parang antamis na sa akin ng local blends natin.

If I can get actual Liberica for barako, that’s what I get. These days kasi some sellers loosely call beans barako when the beans come from Cavite or Batangas kahit hindi yun ang gamit.
I use french press always, but I’ve been eyeing the aero press and moka pot. Maybe after ECQ I’ll get me whichever I find soonest. 
Black coffee straight most of the time, but lately since I gave birth (so hard not to be able to drink everyday, huhu), I add in milk and brown sugar or muscovado if it’s available.
Also, I always buy beans and grind them before I make me a cup and I use a manual ceramic grinder.
As for coffee shops, dahil Laguna-based na ako, my go-to is 18 Days in Nuvali. They roast in house and all beans are locally sourced.

Ucc drip coffee. The red one. Marami ako binili nung nagpunta ako ng japan. I also ask friends who go to japan to buy for me. Minsan meron din sa landers.

Yuh, that’s the problem with the “barako”, that’s why I don’t buy that na. hirap na maghanap ng legit.

Napaisip tuloy ako sa local coffee beans namin dito sa Agoncillo, Batangas, sa local market kung legit barako ba or hindi (since di naman talaga ako dito sa bayan kundi sa ibang lugar ng batangas). Pero super bango ng mga barako nila dito, may tapang.
Kapag mabango and matapang legit yan, may mga barako daw, pero yung lasa parang bigas na sinunog.

Ayun salamat sa pagklaro. Kinabahan tuloy ako kung napepeke ba ako. 
Sa pagkakaalam ko konte nalang yung producers ng liberica kaya madalas hinahalo nila with other bean types. Excelsa yata yung mas common (kung tama pagkaalala ko dun sa ininterview namin) na closer to liberica. Karamihan ng producers arabica or robusta kasi yun ata ang mabenta sa mga bigger companies like Nestlé

Bigla tuloy akong napaisip kasi maraming mahahabang beans sa nabibili ko dito tapos may halong bilog na coffee beans. So mukhang hinahaluan nga, understandable naman for profit
Yup. Ganon nga. Basta ang importante mabango, matapang, at locally-sourced. Barako is

May nabasa ako before na konti nalang daw nagtatanim ng liberica, or yung may plantation ng liberica hindi na maganda yung ani. I searched for it last year kasi I found a nice liberica coffee sa isang hotel sa Quezon.

Inasmuch as I wanted to buy locally sourced coffee, ang hirap magtiwala (sad to say ang hilig kasi mandaya ng pinoy)---- Single-origin kasi preferred ko na coffee ground (ako na naghahalo sa bahay depending sa trip ko).
I found this coffee before sa Mt. Kanlaon, super tapang nya, para kong umiinom ng alak, wasn’t able to get one again

Ayaw ko lang ay blonde roast.
Sa opisina, may coffeemaker ako, sa bahay, coffee press
Black coffee usually, pero nung nakahanap na ako ng unsweetened non-dairy creamer, nilalagyan ko na rin.
Medium or dark roast, sa starbucks, sa palengke. When travelling, i make it a point to but local coffee.
Go to drink sa starbucks:
Cold brew less ice 1 shot of heavy cream

Hehe. I dont think me pekeng barako sa Batangas. Legit lalo na yung mga nabibili sa palengke.
