I remember yung sa CW class ko dati, ang sabi is that poetry needs to be metaphorical. Hindi yung tipong parang kanta lang lang sinasalita/binabasa. So that’s how I judge if that’s poetry or not - and why I don’t consider Lang Leav to be a poet (she writes cheesy prose).
