Depende sa halaman, but generally soil mix na may magandang drainage. Yung may halong soil, compost, and a bit of grit (e.g. tiny pebbles like pumice).
Add oregano to the list of herbs. Mosquito repellant, ambilis tumubo, medicinal, and masarap ihalo ang dried leaves sa adobo.
Based on experience, ok gamitin ang coco peat-coco coir mix for germinating seeds- yan kasi yung ginamit ko noon when I planted basil. Since it’s loose and airy, nae-encourage nito ang root growth ng seedlings, para more chances of winning kapag nilipat mo na yung seedling sa soil, or sa bigger pot.
Daming nahihilig sa plants na friends ko. As in namimili sila ng worth 5k up.
Natry kong mag-alaga ng succulents last year na binili ko sa Baguio. Namatay silang lahat
Yung neighboring complex may competition ata sa rooftop for urban garden during this pandemic. Third building looking good.
Kangkong, galing lang sa stalks ng pinagpitasan.
Thanks I work for East West Seeds and yes please feel free to browse through our FB page. We have quite a bit of resources ranging from planting to growing to detecting plant diseases and how to address them. We are also strengthening our urban gardening segment right now so I guess this is the perfect time to ask your gardening questions through our FB page.
I just ordered 3 SNAP Hydroponics kits from a photographer friend. Lalamove later.
I have an aquaponics set up but it is so hard to balance plant growing and fish growing conditions. I already have new tilapia fingerlings and plan to separate them into a aquaponics setup and just a barrel aquaculture setup.
For the SNAP hydroponics, hoping to grow some lettuce. More miss ako than hits with lettuce in aquaponics… I hope mabuhay ko sila.
Same here! Pero di ko pa na-transplant sa soil:
Mukha syang pothos!
Eto pala pinakamaganda kong pechay ever sa aquaponics!
May kangkong from scraps rin ako hehe. Nakaharvest na 2 weeks ago pang sinigang dyan.
Dumating na SNAP Hydroponics kit namin! P600 kasama styro and Snap solution.
Yung mga kamatis ko after two months
Lapit na harvest! Yay!!!
Kangkong. Itutusok mo lang and mabubuhay na siya. Di maarte basta nadidiligan lagi. Super sipag mag produce ng new leaves
Im no green thumb but I do love the idea of a backyard garden and a small herb garden by the kitchen window sill.
I have several pots of kalamansi I’m growing right now panregalo sa mga Pinot friends this Christmas. Hubby and I have been growing them from seedlings for 3 years now. They’ve been indoors for the winter.
Mga anak sila ng mother tree na to (given to us). Medyo naninilaw na sya. It spent the whole winter in the garage.
Eto naman my fledgling veg garden. Tomatoes, kangkong, talbos ng kamote, cabbage. There were green onions, malunggay and rosemary before but they’ve since died.
Nagtanim ako ng talong, ampalaya at patola seeds nung Sunday, nung Wednesday nag-sprout na yung patola:
Papaya babies (they germinate very easily!)
One of our growing papayas (with make shift harang para di masira ng dogs)
A couple of our long-awaited guyabano fruits (we bought a graftling).
