I’ve been out of the sneaker game for a while, but I used to participate in raffles and fell in line for releases.
My “grails” are pretty humble, an Off-White Chuck Taylor, and a Yeezy 350 v2. Beluga. I also have a couple of stuff from Supreme, including a box logo tee that I’m still considering whether to sell or keep. Hehe.
I’m more GR than hypebeast hehehe. I used to be so into Adidas when the NMD craze hit, and my only Nike then was a pair of the 2015 J11 Low Breds. Lately though, I have gotten a little into the J1 bug! My J1 grail is the Union LA black toe.
Not into streetwear, I can’t carry the style, except for a few of those utility pants that look comfy.
Hindi rin ako ma-hardcore streetwear, gusto ko lang meron ako at least 1 ng mga hyped brands. So far I have 3 Supreme shirts, 2 shirts from Kith and a shorts from AAPE (cheaper brand under BAPE). And some jackets and shirts from Anti-Social Social Club.
Union J1s! Ang dali lang makakuha nun before, tapos biglang nagmahal! Grabe. Nagkaroon din ako ng Off-White na J1 UNC, White Off-White Vapormax, and yung yellow Kobe Protos. Pero binenta ko agad, masyadong mahal isuot eh. Haha.
Nagkaroon din ako ng NMD, and I have a black Undefeated Ultraboost.
Sobra akong malas sa raffle ng mga Off-White collabs, tapos di ko talaga ma-justify sa sarili ko to buy from reseller. I’ve bit the reseller bullet only once so far, within reason pa kasi pricing nya, for the J1 Milans 
Pero pag totoo yung J1 x Off-White na canary yellow… oh my! Hehehe
Malas din ako sa raffles. LA ka ba based? Bihira akong makachamba, madami pa akong ticket sa lagay na yun (bumabalik-balik ako sa pila ng Undefeated, nagbibihis lang ako, then I use multiple email addresses hehe). Yung bayaw ko kasi reseller, yun sobrang swerte. 8 of 10 releases, nakakakuha sya ng at least 1 pair. And that was before he bought a bot.

Grabe talaga bots, pero pati yun, may resale. Kasi the devs make a limited number of user licenses lang so yung mga matataas ang success rate, those are the ones that go for as much as $4k a license. Meron akong kilalang mga Pinoy dito na yun ang gamit. Yung bayaw ko wala pa naman sa level na yun, yung mga $400 lang ang gamit nya. Nakiki-pabili na lang ako sa bot nya kapag may magandang release sa Supreme. That’s how I got my box logo. $35 lang retail nya, pero nasa $200+ na ngayon, but I’m still thinking about keeping it kasi nabili ko naman sya ng mura.
Naku, sa European sites/retailers hindi ako nananalo. Not once. Sa Undefeated kasi dito, physical raffle - kailangan kukunin mo personally yung ticket, tapos 1 day lang na may time window pa. Need to present ID pa. So ang ginagawa namin is babalik lang kami, nagpapalit lang ng damit/shoes, magsusuot ng salamin. LOL. Kasi yung tao nila, abot lang nang abot ng ticket unless mamukhaan ka nila.
SNKRS dito sa US, never pa din ako nananalo, kahit yung early access, wala.
I think factor din kung bakit hirap ako manalo sa raffle is because I get my size, 8.5,which is considered hard to get over here.
Re: StockX, I’ve sold there a few times, pero through my brother-in-law’s account kasi mas mababa ng konti yung commission ng StockX kasi madami na syang nabenta doon. I think it was yung BAPE + ASSC shirt (na 8hrs ko pinilahan) and yung puti na Levis J4.
Slip-on Onitsuka my current fave.
May onitsuka rin ako, ginawa ko lang slip on by replacing the laces with elastic ones. Hahaha.
Raffle is my only chance. I only resell but I really wanted the nike sacai blue waffle for myself.
Not really into the whole hype thing, but I do love me my Adidas(es). Recent purchases ko ay Supercourts, I-5923, saka ZX500 RM. Gusto kong try yung React though.
Edit: Naubusan nga pala ako nung Converse CX tapos pikon na pikon ako hanggang ngayon.

Wala na bang CX? Yung Disrupt ba? Parang meron pa naman akong nakikita. The other Cons that I wanted were yung sa Chinatown Market, yung nag-iiba ng kulay kapag naaarawan.

Wala na eh. Well walang size ko anyway. Ilang linggo ko pinag-isipan kasi nakita ko nang medyo maaga. I hesitated, tapos nung bibili na ako wala na. Online pala 'to, btw. 'Di ko lang alam kung meron na dito. Usual kong gawain kasi ipapadala ko sa mom ko na nasa US tapos iuuwi n iya dito eh. Mas mura.
Gusto kong i-try yung UBs pero hesitant ako bilang malala ang ingrown ko sa paa. Hindi pwede sa akin yung hapit na hapit kasi sasakit paa ko. Hassle. Yung ZX kaya ako napabili kasi mas komportable daw kesa Iniki (hindi ko pa nasukat kasi nasa US pa hehe)
I wasn’t a fan until I won a chance to purchase the latest black-white one due to my participation in a retailer’s community on IG. Mas gusto ko nga sana yung white-white pero di raw pwede mamili. I was actually thinking of reselling nalang but when I tried it on, bigla ako na-sold

I don’t think magkakaroon ka ng problem sa UBs, kasi Primeknit material naman sya, so medyo flexible. Saka pwede ka naman kumuha ng half size up if ever. Runs small lang ang UBs in my experience so dapat masukat mo muna sila bago mo bilhin.

I started buying sneakers for sentimental purposes, gaya ng adidas crazy 97 (suot ni kobe nung nanalo siya ng slamdunk contest) at yung jordan 12 flu game. Then nagstart na yung pagcollect ko from there. Right now, I have Jordans, NMDs, Ultraboosts and Onitsukas. General releases lang, pero may kinocontact akong reseller pag may trip na limited release.
Strictly speaking I have an Onitsuka Mexico 66 na white/blue/red and a Nike Roche Tiempo as sneakers. Yung Roche, nabili ng lola ko on sale noong nag-travel siya sa States kaya mas may sentimental value! Add to that na football cleats ang isa sa mga inspiration for the shoes, so I really loved it.

Sa ngayon ang daily wear ko ay Cole Haan 2.Zerogrand na Stitchlite (yeah, medyo weird yung naming scheme), bale knit sneaker siya pero mukha siyang casual/work friendly kasi mukha siyang wingtips. Nagpabili lang ako sa tita ko sa States noong may sale (binayaran ko naman), tapos hinintay ko na lang yung susunod nilang bisita dito sa Pilipinas. Ilang buwan din yun. Pero sulit! 
Lastly, Adidas Predator 19.3 na futsal shoes. Bought a pair at a very marked down price sa outlet store! Haven’t used these to play yet, but they’re really comfortable for walking. Hehe!
Hindi masagawa yung bigger sizing? Yun din sabi ng friend ko kasi. Pagkatapos ng ECQ makapagsukat nga 
Hindi naman in my experience. Ang actual foot size ko is only 7.5, but my shoes need to be at least 8 or 8.5 kasi makapal ako mag-medyas. Sa Yeezy nga, umabot pa sa size 9 sinusuot ko kasi narrowing yung shape nya eh. But for UBs specifically, I think you’ll be fine kahit 1 size up pa.
