Pinoy Food Item na Mahirap Mahanap Abroad

Or kahit outside of your own province/hometown lang.

For me, eto:

  1. unfrozen saba and plantains na masarap sa banana cue/turon
  2. Philippine yellow mangoes na kailangan sa mango float/mango royal
  3. Certain cuts of meat like sa baboy: yung liempo cut, or pang barbecue na may little bit of taba
  4. yung mga kakanin from my province: muron, suman latik, matamis na bao, cassava suman
  5. good buko for buko pandan and fruit salad - yung mga frozen dito hindi sila soft flesh, matitigas parang pinatuyong kopra.

Bagoong at yung mga pang halo halo like kaong, nata de coco, etc. Galing Pinas lahat or sa countries where there are Pinoy supermarkets like Dubai or the US.

Edit to add: yung mga Sinigang mixes, saka tamarind wala talaga dito

Nung based ako sa Malaysia, walang pulang hotdog, yknow Purefoods Tender Juicy hotdogs. Also, hindi uso ang liver spread doon. And dahil Muslim-majority, mahaaal ang pork products.

Yung pwedeng gawing lechon kawali.

Purefoods hotdogs. Purefoods corned beef na made in the Philippines, hindi made in Brazil (yuck). Magnolia ice cream na made by San Miguel, not by the other Magnolia (not creamy enough). Chicken nuggets by whoever.

Milo na made in Malaysia. Ang madami ay made in Mexico na weird ang lasa.

Chocnut. Liver spread. Safeguard (ito talaga yung bakit mahirap hanapin eh MNC ang P&G). Graham crackers.

Lumpia wrapper. Hays

liempo with the skin on. di tuloy makagawa ng proper lechon kawali.
