I hope more people will get to see Reply 1988.
Ito yung biggest surprise sakin. I know a lot of people who can’t make it past the 1st episodes, kasi weird and boring, I get that since I sensed its magic only on its 4th ep ata, tapos it will constantly grow on you. Recently been seeing posts that they dropped this series 3 years ago, but now picking it up and loving it…
I’m a 1988 baby, but growing up I still got to experience some of the ‘old school’ elements injected in the series. Beyond the nostalgia and the humor, its magic is really more about the ensemble of characters, all so charming that I found myself rooting for each one of them as if we were really family. Gosh, this show’s got so much heart - amazing how it managed to move me and pull my heartstrings every single time with those touching life lessons. This reminds me of my dose of Modern Family back in the day.
Kahit four years late to the party, go watch it, Reply 1988 is gold!

@nescafe_ice13 , totoo no? After 13th ep, nawala ako. Forward na ng forward kasi ang gulo na ng kwento. Andaming di settled issues at una na sakin yung may big data lab pala sa Corea pero hindi nahanap si Luna. Like what???

^Konti pa lang exposure ko - 14 KDramas of recent times pa lang napanood ko although it cuts across genres (yung ranking ko nasa taas Kdrama Thread), I realized genre has a lot to do with whether we’ll like the KDrama or not… or any show for that matter naman. Kaya ang hirap din magrecommend ng single bestest KDrama since it depends din on the genre and each drama has its brilliance. Personal preference ko e thriller type tsaka family drama, pero maganda ibanlaw yung mga yun with light/ romcom ones kaya I tend to watch 2 series alternately, isa heavy isa light.

Looking forward to this. Episode 1 pa din ako til now after weeks of trying to watch it haha. Naiirita ako sa big sister kontrabida! At the same time natutuwa sa similar realities about growing up in those days, and having neighbors who are also friends.
My life since COVID19 has been kdrama. 
panaka naka na lang ang English series or movies.

After the finale, nirewatch ko yung 1st 5 eps, and I realized maganda pala ang 1st eps dahil kilala ko na yung characters

@perlita, mej nahilo din ako–there were times na nirerewind namin kasi di namin magets. its quite an ending though, chaka maraming naresolve na issues. pero kulang talaga e.
sabi ng sistership ko, maganda daw yung Strong Girl Bong Soon chaka yung Weightlifting Fairy.

@aero super favourite ko din Reply 1988. nasa Top 5 KDrama ko yan. may alternate ending pa nga nabalita yan nun kasi may mga viewers na na upset. pati ako affected. hehe. try mo din panoodin Reply 1997 and 1994. maganda din although pinakabet ko si 1988. their stories stand on their own pero may konek silang 3. 
may nagsabi sakin dapat panoorin in order 1997>1994>1988 para mas magets. pero tingin ko kahit ano unahin mo ayos pa din. magaling yung team-up ng producer at writer ng Reply Series. sila din ang tag team sa Prison Playbook at Hospital Playlist na ok din pareho.
@woundedsoul maghanda ka ng madaming tissue sa uncontrollably fond, minahal ko si KWB dun ng sobra. ilang araw ko dinibdib yun.

sa medyo old soul na tulad ko, highly recommended ang Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 1 and 2. di ko bet medical drama nun pero may nagkulit sakin panoodin yung season 1. buti nalang sinunod ko, kasi sulit sya. pati ost natuwa ako.
try nyo din Healer at Suspicious Partner ni Ji Chang Wook, Fight For My Way ni PSJ at Kill Me Heal Me ni Ji Sung (with PSJ din hehe).

@aero haha. affected ako masyado pag naluha na si JHI. naiiyak din ako lalo na sa SITR naku.
pareho tayo after ng heavy drama next ko yung light lang. para mabalance. naalala ko after Moon Lovers huminto ako for a time kasi nabigatan ako masyado. ok naman storyline nya plus andun si Kang Ha Neul mylabs hehe. nahirapan lang ako bumitiw sa character nya dun kaya nagpahinga ko ng slight and then sunod sunod na light para mabanlawan.
di din ako masyado particular sa genre pero minsan hesitant ako sa mga historical. pero kung maganda review gumogora pa din!
plano ko nga start Mystic this weekend pero thank you at nabanggit mo naku medyo baka ipagpapaliban ko muna.

Goblin - 11.5/10. hands down.
It’s Ok That’s Love - you can never go wrong with oppa Jo In Sung.
Reply 1988 - simple pero rock. sobra sobrang rock.
Coffee Prince - medyo classic na to pero bilang si GY ang ultimate oppa ko hindi sya pwede mawala. dito ko sya unang minahal.
Chicago Typewriter (tied with CLOY) - most underrated drama for me. exceptional story. amazing ost. beautiful cinematography. superb acting esp Yoo Ah In. he was phenomenal here. SML was also strong (reply 1988’s sun woo). same writer ng kill me heal me and the moon embracing the sun.
Crash Landing On You (tied with CT) - walang tapon sa lahat ng episodes. and who wouldn’t fall for Captain Ri??? jusme. plus RiRi’s chemistry’s just off the charts.
