@Marikitpikit, @iamstorm, kaya nga ok sa CA kasi madaming mapupuntahan. Puwede pa magdrive to Nevada, Arizona, etc. Dito sa Midwest puro fields. Dati nagpunta kami sa Mississippi River, ako lang ang natuwa. :lol: I’ve been to Big Bear before pero single pa ako. Excited to take my family with me. Sige pag tapos na ang corona, EB tayo! :jumping:

@ilyntech, thank you! 4 days din kami inabot kasi may dala kaming U-Haul cargo trailer so 55mph ang takbo, max is 65mph (pag walang state trooper in sight :lol:). Kung yung SUV lang, kaya 3 days.

Magkano usually maglipat ng gamit from state to state? Mag reloc kami soon fron Seattle to Sunnyvale, looking for options!

@palkups, depends kung gaano kadami gamit nyo. If your hire a moving truck na sila pa ang magpack and load for you, mas mahal. Kaya kami, U-Haul cargo trailer (5x8) lang ginamit namin since we’re driving from Illinois to California. We just got rid of a lot of our stuff from our 2BR apartment. We can’t rent a truck kasi we have 2 kids so the trailer is the best choice since it can be attached to our SUV. Kung wala kayong kids, you can rent a big U-Haul truck. I think 3 seating capacity sya sa harap. Around $433+ yung rental fee na binayaran namin, kasama na yung mga pang-attach. Check the U-Haul website na lang for different specs ng trucks/trailers nila.

I used UPack before:

  • Atlanta to Omaha - 1.5K
  • Omaha to Chicago - 850

one cube lang ang nirent ko, tapos naghire pa ako ng movers to help me load/unload. convenient sya for me kasi wala pa akong experience to drive large vehicles.
