Hiring Managers: What Do You Look For in Candidates?

Ive been doing sooo many round of interviews since I started law school for various internships and summer associate positions kaya parang nagiging monotonous na ang process for me. Ive had hits and misses. I personally hate interviews. :embarasslaff: especially kapag panel.

I want to know, for those who are involved in the hiring process in your company, whether or not you make the ultimate decision:

  1. What do you look for specifically in a candidate for your specific business?
  2. Any tips to wow the interviewer and ensure you get a second interview or the actual job?
  3. Strict no-nos or dealbreakers?
  4. Any additional, general thoughts about the hiring process.
