After manood eh mafefeel mong kayang- kaya mo lutuin whatever he cooked i stopped watching though after he had that live episode tapos mac & cheese yung niluluto niya but it looked like sopas to me hahaha
OnT: grew up watching Barefoot Contessa & that chocolate show ni Jacques Torres on Lifestyle Channel! Plus Rob Pengson’s cooking show sa QTv back in the day (super crush ko siya noon… hanggang ngayon )
QTV was a goldmine of cooking shows.
Inaabangan ko Quickfire noon pag hapon! may isa pang show but i don’t remember what it was called, basta puro desserts naman with Chef Aileen Anastacio (of Goodies n Sweets). At yung isa pa na magbabarkadang chefs sila!
OnT: Tiny Kitchen! Grabe effort for small food eh haha
Maaga ako napabilang sa Titas of Manila, i was only in 3rd grade nung nahilig sa cooking shows, tapos peak nung 4th grade because of Qtv!
Ah yes! I remember dalawa nga sila sa show, si Chef Jackie pala kasama niya!!
They narrated the history of cooking by connecting it with the four elements.
Fire: when humans discovered fire as a medium of cooking, it started the civilization.
Water: it marked the technological advances in pottery and metalwares
Air: It is highlighted my machines, ovens, and more advanced cooking.
Earth: Humans started to use fermentation and controlled decomposition in food preparation.
