Do you use a fitness tracker?

Ayun lang :joy: Why’d you pick the Versa by the way? (Curious lang since you don’t really care about the other features )

@markdarylramos @Shofixti

How are the apps? Minsan, nagkakatalo parin sa mga apps eh. Personally, I prefer the Fitbit apps. Mahal lang talaga ng hardware nila.

Oh, ayun lang. Parang cool yung features though. Also read na may fall detection siya :astonished: Saw a lot of posts sa Twitter na na-unconscious sila and their Apple Watches called 911. One of those features that are nice to have but you never want to use. heh.

Damn, how bad? Walang replacement at all?

^TBH I have no idea why

Pero yun, yan muna and have no plans on changing or upgrading sa ngayon. I like the reminders about moving about every hour, steps etc. Now na WFH I track the time I exercise too

uhm, both maganda naman yung apps. wala akong naging problem

Garmin Connect App is great. It can also be integrated with Strava. Measures what I need. Heartrate, sleep cycle, route, elevation, pace, cadence even calorie intake. Everything you’d need and more. Dashboard is easy to understand.

I have Apple Watch. I like that I can also use it for swimming. Kaya lang nga halos araw-araw icharge. At same, hindi ko nagagamit ibang watch ko.

Iniisip ko bumili ng Garmin para sa triathlon dreams at dahil na rin mahilig talaga ko sa watch at gadgets

Got a Huawei Watch GT. Okay naman, it does a good job of tracking my heart rate, which I need. Battery really lasts two weeks if it’s set on battery saver mode. On full gallop, it lasts around four days or so. Not bad.

Anyways, promising naman sya as per reviews. Can’t wait to use it when the lock down is over.

I have a Mi Fit 4 too. I use it primarily for the sleep tracker. I don’t get enough sleep so I’ve started tracking. I also set it up to receive messages para I don’t keep checking my phone. So far ang favorite kong feature is yung ipa ring nya phone ko pag nakalimutan ko kung san ko nilagay. Haha.

Cool. Parang ang ganda nung Spotify support niya. For running :running_man: Awkward kasi tumakbo with a phone. Heh.

@yuri @Zen-Zen Wait, bukod pa ba yan sa Mi Band 4?:open_mouth:

Same lang.

Ah got it. Kala ko may bago silang nirelease na band. Haha.

Ang cool nga nito. Though laging nagbabackfire sakin since laging connected ang Bluetooth speakers. So nag-iingay lang sa bahay. :joy:

Favorite ko din ang silent alarms. Saka yung idle alerts. Sobrang useful ngayong ECQ. At least may reminder na tumayo every hour. :joy:

I have a fitbit flex 2 (yata), the one that’s payat and does not show numbers. just dots. I like it kasi hindi masyado demanding (i just know progress pero not exactly how much), saka tracks sleep. i don’t like wearing a watch kasi so okay sa akin yung maliit lang. best of all waterproof siya.

Ang distracting nga ng numbers minsan. May time na nagwawalk in place na lang ako para lang mareach yung 10000 steps per day target

Pinamana sa akin ang isang first gen Fitbit by an uncle. Useful sya when am working kasi I can track how many steps I took during the day, especially when you are just sitting in your office.

Wala ng silbi magtrack ngayon… ten steps to kitchen… 10 to living room… 20 to bedroom… 9 to toilet… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I have a Fitbit Charge 3 and Garmin Vivoactive 3.

I like that both can be used for swimming, since that’s basically the only cardio I can stand. Also, battery life. Meron Samsung Galaxy Watch si misis, I found it too heavy.

Overall, gusto si Garmin. I can get notifications properly (something the Charge 3 is lacking in) and its easy enough to have on my wrist 24/7 when I don’t need to charge it. No problems din syncing sa phone, which again, is a problem with the Fitbit, na super dependent sa phone.

I liked the hi-res screen and the variety of watch faces available for the Galaxy Watch, pero mabigat saka kailangan halos araw-araw i-charge.

As a tool for tracking actual exercise/workouts, hindi ko sila masyado ginagamit kasi simple lang naman daily routine ko.

May not count as a fitness tracker, but calorie counting via MyFitnessPal is helpful

Usually may sleep at HR tracker naman sila. Yun na lang nagagamit ko

@iamstorm Too much work nga. I just want a tracker that I can wear and forget. If you have to babysit it everyday, parang Tamagotchi na siya

I use my Samsung Galaxy watch (pareho tayo @AvA rose gold) kaso minsan nakakalimutan kong i-charge pag inaalis ko sa trabaho :disappointed: Admittedly I don’t use it that much simula nung nagsara mga gym and I only run outside once or twice a week (flares up my seasonal allergies)
