Baka merong gustong gamitin yung avatars nila dati. Sadly, animated gifs do not work, tapos square/round ones look best as avatars.

I checked the Discourse forum at work at puwede pala siya 
Hindi enabled by default though. Nasa Admin Control Panel → Settings tab → Files section

Yes, merong ganyan sa discourse. Tinest namin before and saw that it resizes the avatars to square. Eh most of the old animated avatars are not squares, pangit tignan pag na compress, so wag na lang i-enable hehe
