Apps You Find Super Useful

Amazon’s Audible coz medyo tamad na akong magbasa these days. Haha.

Spotify for sound trip. Netflix & Amazon Prime Video for series and movies. YouTube pampalipas-oras.

For food cravings, mas bet ko pa rin ang FoodPanda. Hehe.

For Social Media, Instagram and Twitter: @narsisismo handle ko dun. :charing: medyo toxic na ang FB so Messenger mainly for updates and Viber & WhatsApp. Haha.

Trying Discourse now because of Peyups. :hahaha:

For browsing, Ecosia most of the time & for money matters, GCash & PayMaya. At syempre, Shopback para sa cashbacks everytime I shop online.

Slack. I use this to talk to my students. I find it more organized and better than messenger. It’s good for collaboration, too.
Webtoon. I read webtoons when I found out some KDramas are based on them. But there are none Korean authors that are quite good, too.
Klook. For traveling, this is a very useful app.

Syempre Grab pag gabi na at mahirap humanap ng jeep kasi masyado kayong naaliw sa grad class.

Banking apps! Really useful. I do most things online like pay bills and transfer funds. No need to physically go to banks and wait for your turn.

Waze for the navigation-challenged drivers. Before waze, i used to have an old school map of metro manila. Yung parang naka libro pa

Hello fellow Forest user. I’ve never seen another one in the wild  I used to use that until I realized that there is a whitelist tapos whinitelist ko lang lahat and now it’s just a farming game for me :joy: Also, I got tired of watching my poor plants die

Right now I’m using Productivity Challenge Timer. It’s a sarcastic pomodoro app that makes fun of you if you slack off. Though I still use Forest pag may limited edition trees. :deciduous_tree:

Gcash

Spotify - keeps me sane habang nagcocommute/or nasa road
Skyscanner an Klook
Timetree - for shared calendar with someone

Lightroom

Google Keep - good interface, simple to use and I like their tick boxes (should have used it before during rounds)

Sol Calendar - if you are a person who loves icons/emojis to track important events

I don’t know why but Keep got very slow for me so I stopped using it after a while. Notes take almost a minute to just show up kahit sa flagship level na phone. :pensive: Maybe because I have so many notes. Main use case was to bookmark interesting websites with the Chrome extension.

iOS apps:

  1. 1Password - password management not just for websites but also my wi-fi routers, two-factor authentication, notification for compromised websites.
  2. Lockdown - firewall app that blocks trackers and other connections you don’t want your apps to be doing, saves you money if you are on a prepaid data plan.
  3. Deliveries - centralized delivery tracking, supports Amazon, UPS, Fedex, SingPost, JapanPost, and more.

Hermit! It makes some of my accounts–IG, Twitter, Flickr, Messenger, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Gmail, yahoo mail, Tumblr, booking.com–accessible without having to download and install each app. Saves me a lot of phone memory and battery life.

Spotify para sa mahusay na playlist management
Youtube Music para sa mahusay na Start Radio feature
Google Keep para sa to-do lists
YNAB classic sa budget
Pokemon Go pag naka-Grabshare
Lazada app para sa basurang comments section

Useful nga din pala ang Splitwise for managing debt/splitting bills with friends  Also, to passive-aggressively send reminders kung hindi pa sila nagbabayad.
