Apps for Delivery Service

What’s your go-to delivery service app for food and non-food deliveries? Why?

My top 2 are Grab and Lalamove for non-food.

(This got me once or twice lang, then when I noticed how often it happened and saw one driver who said “nagtutulak siya ng motor dahil naputukan ng gulong” but got from Fairview to Montalban by “walking” in 27 mins, I learned my lesson na. I politely tell them that if they can’t get to me for whatever reason, they should cancel the booking themselves.)

I’m QC-based and mostly Lalamove ang ginagamit ko for South deliveries of non-food items. Though very reliable sila for big packages. Mahilig lang magpadagdag and they’re not afraid to ask.:hihi:

This ECQ, I use Angkas for Rizal deliveries. For some reason, ang dali makakuha ng Angkas drivers for packages going there.

For food deliveries, I used to love Grab Food but since nakita ko na ang laki ng patong nila sa menu price (Hanako price via Grab Food was jacked up to 30% than the menu price) + delivery fee pa + I give tip usually sa driver, I tend to order direct with the restos as much as possible. Though these days, mas nagluluto kami than deliveries, unless hindi na kaya ang cravings. Hihi!

They’ll just text or call to say, “Nandito na po ako.” This is even though kaharap lang nila yung doorbell when they see the huge house number namin.:nye:

I think yung Lalamove kasi mas pang-harabas/other items, vs. Grab na mas concentrated sa food. I also see Grab riders waiting for bookings near restos, so they have a bit of rest and can prettify a bit

Feeling ko lang kung ako rin nag d drive buong araw with this heat, baka dugyot na rin ako  (naalala ko classmate ko pag nag e enlist dati, circa 90’s: I need to go home muna, so amoy araw na :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

 Troot!

Maganda rin system nila kasi may ETA updates going to the recipient once mapick up na from the sender.

True. Pero naisip ko, baka hassle lang for them to dismount from motorcyle, off/on engine, put out stand… or baka para makapahinga rin sila while waiting ng nakupo sa motor hehe :dunno:

For packages, I go with Lalamove out of habit. Minimum nila dati was 3000, buti ngayon may 300 na sila.

For food, Grab naman.

On topic: Shopee I think uses a lot of TJ (tama ba?) which is only P45/trip. Imagine that!

Either nahulog or natalembwang, or sinuksok lang bigla sa backpack.

Grab food kasi subok na, grab delivery or lalamove kapag non-food.
