Damn, that’s cheap. Ano yung advertised speed? Also, won’t you get penalized if they catch you using the VPN to bypass the Great Firewall? 
Ito yung advertised speed:
First row is the current 300 speed which is mga ¥13-14k/year. Third row is 5G speed medyo mahal per month so I haven’t upgraded yet. May kasamang 3 SIM cards ka when you apply which you can use as a mobile phone line or ilagay mo sa mobile wifi unit mo. Advertised diyan yung worth of free minutes sa phone.
My current account speed is 300 pero I pay half price because I’m an old customer.
As for VPN, let me quote BDO, “We find ways”

Abuso kami dito. No data caps. Naputulan kami a couple of times I forgot to top up the debit card na gamit ko sa bills.

PLDT Home Fibr Unli Plan 1699. OK so far yung speed, symmetrical yung download and upload. Tapos lately nagspeed boost from 20 Mbps to 25 Mbps.
Ang feedback ko lang for now is antagal ng pagsagot pg tumawag ka sa customer hotline nila (171). I am not sure if dahil na rin sa nangyaring pandemic kaya wala masyado mga agents available, pero oras na ang binilang nakahold ka pa rin sa line.

Nakatanggap kami ng free upgrade na 5mbps sa Sky. Ngayon, 10mbps na kami. May pagbabago sa downloads, pero walang pagbabago sa uploads.
Kasama ba US folks? LOL. Spectrum.

So far okay pa, though pag malakas ang ulan (?), minsan nawawala wala. But what’s good is that the CS is an sms away. Sasagot/tatawag agad sila to check.

Update: Sky’s downloads are fine pero shit uploads niya recently. Having trouble attaching a 1 megabyte file 
May Converge booth sa lobby ng condo kanina. Really tempted to get a subscription as well as backup. Concern ko lang ay parang unreliable din sila recently sa QC area. Baka PLDT din bagsak ko nito

Ten or so years ago I read a comment on pinoydsl.net stating that PLDT is the “least worst” of the local ISPs.
