Anong internet service provider niyo?

And did you have a choice?

I’m currently on Sky right now. Used to have Converge Fiber. Man, I missed that connection. 35 mbps download and upload for 1599. Majority kasi ng fiber connections are sobrang anemic parin ng upload speeds. Symmetrical internet connections are still hard to avail. Had to switch to Sky from Converge kasi I moved back to QC from Pasig at hindi covered ng Converge yung bagong building namin :frowning: Picked Sky as they have the most reasonable price to speed ratio. Globe is just too expensive and I had a really bad experience with PLDT :fire:

SkyCable. nakabundle with our cable. mej nawindang kami kasi isang taon na di nagpadala ng bill, tapos isang araw, dumating ang isang taong worth ng bills. muntikan kaming putulan, naaway ko din yung customer service nila.

which reminds me, pagkatapos nitong ECQ, itatawag ko itong cable namin. walang silbi yung mga channels.

Stable naman ba sila? Mga two months pa lang kami with Sky  So far got an eight hour outage. Sana hindi na maulit for a while. Got their broadband ony plan.

What do you mean walang silbi?

I’m on PLDT, usually no problems except for customer service kapag troubleshooting - tagal njla magpadala ng technician.

If I have the option, Converge

yung ibang channels kasi, sabi daw either di kami subscribed, or cannot be accessed. alam ko dapat kasama yun sa plan namin.

NagPLDT din kami before Converge. Sakit sa ulo nga yung customer service nila. Maayos naman service nung simula. Pero near the end of the first year, lagi na lang nagloloko yung internet. Tapos nung naayos, mga two months naman kaming walang phone line. Nung nabwiset na ako, pinacancel ko. Napunta ata ako sa mabait na customer service agent, winaive niya yung pre-termination fee namin (guess it helped na hindi ko siya inaway at nag-appeal to emotion ako ). Ayun, was able to switch to converge scot-free.

PLDT DSL at first, but in 2014, the year I started teaching English online, sumakto na may initiative ang PLDT na gawing FIBR na, and masuwerteng isa sa nauna, location namin. Okay naman most of the time, but ayun nga, mabagal ang after sales/customer support, kailangan matiyaga mag-follow-up. Pinakamatagal na siguro sa experience ko ay mga 8-9 days nawalan ng connection, pero I heard sa iba, weeks or even months, hindi pa rin naaayos.

Wow. Kami naman 1 year na walang phone line but I didnt care because net was good. 21 days ako tumatawag at nangaaway ng customer service kasi kahit gawin nya na ifollow up, if the tech people wont come, wala nangyayari. Finaally after a month napalitan ang sirang phone unit and narestore ang net

This them? https://nowfiberair.ph/

Interesting. Never heard of them before. Symmetrical ba yung connection mo?

Their internet was really good at the time too pero sobrang mas sulit kasi yung Converge for much cheaper (10 mbps vs 35 mbps, 1799 vs 1599). Did the math and we’d still come ahead kahit may pre-termination fee pa.

Now, may 7k akong utang. Hinahanap ko sila, wala na, nowhere to be found.

Minsan lang kami walang internet, or bihira.

Now I’m using Globe At HOME prepaid, laging 12-15mbps download and 10mbps upload.

Haven’t had any problems yet.

Weeks or even months wala silang internet connection or intermittent, pero tuloy pa rin sa singil sa payment plan (kasi yun yung nasa Terms and Conditions nila) which is sad kasi lugi sa side ng user.

Globe At Home prepaid for now, I haven’t had the time to sign up for PLDT FIBR in my condo (sadly they have an exclusive deal with PLDT, which I think should be illegal?). Medyo mabagal na siya ngayon kumpara sa dati, at nawawala yung signal ng wifi now and then.

Yes, that’s the one.
Plan is P1800 for 40mbps, lock for 24mos. Im not sure if it’s symmetrical but download is usually same as upload speed +/- 5.

Mostly daw kasi pangbusiness talaga sila.

Oh… nice. Competitive pricing nila ha :astonished: Thanks for the info!

Inquired a few minutes ago, hindi pa pa daw covered area namin.

Since January this year.

Ang bibo din ng service. One day after application, nakabitan na kami.
Wala pang online billing and payment. So hinahatid sa bahay ang bill and you pay via bank dep then send proof via email.
Hope they cover more area soon ang maintain that kind of service.
