My dad (quarantine pass holder) tried to pay for our bills (March and April) at an SM bayad center earlier this week but was told that the payment for April could not be accepted- yung reference number ayaw daw tanggapin nung machine nila. Searching around the internet, I think a number of people also experienced this - both online payment and sa bayad centers. Sa tingin ko dahil nga ilalabas na nila yung tinatawag nilang “corrected bill”:

Pero matapos nung initial shock, at pag chineck mo naman yung dibay-dibay three, reasonable naman so far. Take into account na May usually yung pumapalo talaga nang bongga yung consumption namin dahil tag-init.

Oo nga, I think that’s bound to happen kasi ang sinop nila masyado by basing your historical consumption para run sa March/April mo. Mag-cocorrect nga siguro pero tama dapat lang bantayan. Ang olats pa naman nila sa statement nila pagdating sa “credit” amount, anliit-liit nasa likod. Hindi gaya ng bill say, sa Globe o Smart kung may overpayment ka, kita agad sa harapan ng bill.
