Bisekleta Thread!

if talagang long term ka na magba-bike it would make sense for you to get a proper bike fitting and have your bike fitted and spec’ed according sa intended use mo and personal preferences ex. iba ang bike fitting for a mountainbike kesa sa roadbike, iba for sport and iba rin for competition/racing etc.

changing parts bit by bit would be costlier in the long run and yang mga sabi-sabi ng mga “marurunong” sa bike would just end as a more costly pathway with you doing trial and error on trying to find out what’s best for you and eventually ending up with a big pile of of unused parts and accessories…

ang maganda lang with your situation now is you have a better sense of what your emerging needs are with regards to your bike e.g. sport/recreation, exercise, mobility, etc. your needs should dictate your decisions hindi yung may nagsabi lang na merong mas maganda na pyesa etc.

Edited my post to share my current cross-country mountainbike build, painstakingly assembled with carefully chosen parts for durability and overall “lightweight-ness” with more than 15 years of biking and bike commuting experience behind it:

You might not need to change your handle bar yet. Straight bars are supposedly the most comfortable kind of handlebars around. The chest area is open and the arms and hands are in neutral position.

Have you checked the stack and reach of your bike? Maybe you can adjust your seatpost and saddle position and perhaps change the stem (to adjust stem length) if needed.

Nakabalik biking ako just around our community since I got here. Nai intimidate na ako sa city biking dito after being away for long.

Biking clears my mind and strengthens my legs and core (and heart, I suppose). Dati Mas regular ang city biking ko and weekend off-road or small trails around the city. Nakakasama pa sa TOF for about 4 consecutive years (Marshall on my last year). Nakakamiss!

Ano maganda at bang for the buck foldie? Trinx? Atomic?

Once a year lang ako halos mag bike dati, ngayon sinusubukan kong mag ride kahit once a week

Meron palang bisikleta thread!

Pa-share lang dito ng pinakapogi kong bike, na nandun sa kapatid ko for the past 3 years na yata.

Medyo regular ako magbike since 2015, although much less nung 2019. Pero recently since December 2020 napapadalas na ulit dahil nasira yung kotse!

Hello!

Kaya kung bibili ka, make sure tama yung size for your height, mas okay pa yung smaller than larger actually.

Just bought 2 Aeroic Rovers. Tig-isa kami ni misis.
