Anong mga “sana” niyo sa current /future bosses niyo?
Paano makakatulong ang boss niyo na mag-thrive /ma-enganyo kayo?
For me, I was lucky to have always worked with brilliant bosses (super smart). Important sa akin ‘yun kasi ma-b-bully ko siguro kung hindi.
Important din sa akin yung boss na clear ang directions (daming boss na sobrang grand plans) kasi I work with money. Letting me do things my way (hindi masyadong micro-manager) is also
Tapos hindi na-i-inggit. Yung ang tingin nya sa success mo ay success nya rin (parang yung song ) Kasi pag na insecure boss mo sa ‘yo, tsk.
Sana yung next boss ko will have the patience, resourcefulness, and kindness of my former (recent) boss ko whom I can talk to about my frustrations and my vision. (Although feeling ko he was too good to everyone he became almost like a pushover). Pero sana mas yung naiintidihan yung work ko mismo, versus just being a manager.
Sana yung next boss ko, hindi nagmmessage sa weekends para sa tasks na hindi naman urgent, hindi nagpapalaki ng mga trivial na bagay, at tutulungan ako igrow ang career ko.
Gusto ko yung boss na may tiwala sa akin but at the same time alam din niya limitations ko on certain projects and would understand when some tasks take some time.
Democratic boss. Yung functional boss ko kasi dictator. He wants things to go his way, kahit di nagmemake sense sometimes. And egotistic din. Buti nalang magaling naman. Pero sometimes nagclaclash kami because of differences in opinion. I’m all for healthy discussions because which I always have with my direct boss. Mas may respeto ako sa desisyon ni direct boss kahit it clashes with mine dahil naging healthy yung discussion. Yung kay functional boss um-oo lang ako because of authority and not because i find merit in what he says, dahil walang healthy discussion.
