Sorry for the trite title It’s pithy so it serves the purpose of a thread title.
I just want to see if you have come across any powerful epiphanies or nuggets of life lessons that you think changed the way you viewed something in a radical or significant way.
For me, these thoughts imparted by my Negotiations coach:
The first thing you do when you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging.
Do not be fooled by the concept of “sunk costs”. Time, resources, money you have spent previously are now gone. Move on from that and don’t keep doing something if it no longer serves your purpose. Cut your losses as early as you can.

Trolling may be fun for the trolls but it is rarely harmless and tolerance of it has resulted in the ruin of countless communities. It derails conversations and makes people feel unsafe.
