“King and Queen of Hearts” - yun ang song nung first time may nagyaya sa akin sumayaw na guy sa isang debut (pero sa probinsya ito hehe). I agreed to dance pero di ko sya type. 
“You” by the Carpenters - kinanta ng escort ko dati sa debut ko. Kilig! Crush ko kasi sya eh. Senior na nga sya sa UP that time, pero freshie lang ako. Nilakad ako ng orgmate namin para maging escort sya. Ganda ng boses! Whew!
“Do You Know Where You’re Going To” by Diana Ross - always reminds me of my lolo who passed away when I was 4 years old. This was his favorite song according to my lola.
“Christmas in our Hearts” by Jose Mari Chan - brings me back to that special Christmas when my lola, and titas were still in the Philippines, the last Noche Buena that we celebrated together there. May talent show pa kaming magpipinsan. I played something on the keyboards.

Nung nakalabas na ng NICU anak ko, yan lang nakakacalm sa kanya. Tapos si hubby, minomodify pa yung lyrics tapos kinakanta nya: “Born in the PRC!” So much for soothing baby lullabies.
No particular song but I played the album “The Emancipation of Mimi” on repeat after a certain heartbreak before I left Manila.

Yun palang “Oppa Gangnam Style”, would always remind me nung New Year’s Eve (2012) na nagvideoke ng malakas yung kapitbahay. I was pregnant that time with my firstborn. Sobrang lakas nung sipa nya parang sumasayaw sa loob ng uterus ko. 
The next day, I went into labor.

at lahat ng kaba sa pag-aantay sa results ng college entrance tests!
sobrang vivid pa sa memory ko yung umaga when i took the acet back in 2008, cousins ko (who were then working as ateneo gs teachers) pa naghatid sa akin at yan yung tumutugtog magic 89.9 right before i got off the car. masama na pakiramdam ko that morning tas during the exam nilagnat na ako at ang lala ng sipon ko pero fight lang kasi dream university eh hahaha!
nung nilabas yung results january 2009, i was pretty confident (wow haha) i’d make it to ateneo kasi pumasa na sa dlsu at ust. eh hinde! madalas ako nakikinig sa radio noon kaya tuwing naririnig ko the man who can’t be moved, naiinis ako kasi naassociate ko na dun sa morning that i took the acet at di ako pumasa.
dagdag anxiety pa na it was a good two weeks rin ata bago nagrelease ng upcat results tapos takot na takot ako kasi feeling ko non, kung di ko nga napasa acet, pano pa kaya upcat 
sobrang bitter ko talaga buong two weeks na yon hahahaha pero napawi kasi pumasa naman sa up. and sobrang saya at makulay ng college life ko sa up 
hanggang ngayon though tuwing napapadaan sa ateneo area, the man who can’t be moved pa rin naaalala ko hahahahahaha

Supermarket Flowers and Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran reminds me of my late mom. The first song was released a few months after she died, and I remembered crying when I was listening to it. The second song was her last favorite song, and she always asks my niece to sing it to her noon.
