Any fasters here? How’d it go for you? Which variant are you using?
Tried the 16:8 fast way back in 2018. Lost about nine kilos (gained back seven since ). Trying it again this year.
What I like about it is that I only have to think about when to eat, not what to eat (though you still shouldn’t eat all that ice cream). Counting calories is just too much of a pain.
Started IF in 2018 also. I was a breakfast person all my life but now not anymore. 16:8 rin pero this year hindi ko na religiously ginagawa especially simula nung ECQ. Ang schedule ko ngayon ay weekday IF na 14:10.
Yes nakakalose ng weight pero yung quality rin ng food ang minomonitor ko.
May time na nagswitch ako to Circadian Fasting (no nighttime eating) but it got too troublesome as I sleep late at nagugutom ako lagi sa gabi
Oo nga eh. Nung 2018 naman, I was starving myself na pala. Since I have like two meals a day tapos sobrang reduced ng portions. I’d like to think I’m better now.
Do you use any apps? I used to use Zero but it got too annoying so I stopped. I’m mostly using YouAte now. I just take a picture of my food tapos siya na bahala magtrack ng fasts
@itachi Wala akong app, tinatandaan ko lang yung time, usually 9pm to 11am ang fasting time ko ngayon. Sinabay ko rin pala ito sa Keto which made me fit in 3 mos. Ang lakas makapayat! Pero ngayon bumabalik na kakakain ko ng carbs. Hindi kasi sustainable for me ang keto dahil sa side effects… which is another story.
Now I try to lessen my carbs and choose more veggies. The simpler way the better. Hirap pag tumatanda na, bumabagal metabolism

Started 2017. I did a 10-day water fast (nothing but water) then 20:4. I’m trying to do OMAD now but there are days when it’s hard. So usually I take breaks during holidays or when travelling. I use Zero app. OMAD IF + Keto = super effective weight loss program.
Nag keto diet din ako. I lost 5 kgs. Pero sa first few days, super dami ko rashes sa ilong. Pwede naman sa ibang lugar pero may grand reunion talaga sila sa nose ko. Parang maliliit na pimples. After ng phase na yun, more than a week siguro, mawawala sila then okay na. Kaya pag nagcarbs ulit ako, parang ayoko na danasin na naman yung keto rash sa ilong
I do the 16:8, although minsan lumalabas na 17:7 kapag sobrang busy sa work. I just like the idea that I do not have to worry much about sa breakfast. Black coffee lang kapag medyo tinatamaan ng gutom before the meal.
I started with circadian and occasional 16:8 last year. Nagawa ko lang religiously yung 16:8 this ECQ, and sometimes 18:6 pa. Also tried the 36h fast nung Good Friday, kaya naman pala talaga without food. Pero ayoko na ulitin
16:8. Ang binago ko lang, skip breakfast then late lunch. Sinabayan ko convert to being pescatarian (vegetarian when possible). Ganda ng effect sa bp ko.
